The schedule for the first phase of the Indian Premier League 2024 has been officially announced as 21 games are set to take place in this phase. Kolkata Knight Riders will take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the iconic Eden Gardens on 23rd March in their first game of IPL 2024.
Knight Riders are set to play 3 games in this first phase of the tournament. After their match against SRH, the Knights will face Royal Challengers Bangalore on 29th January and Delhi Capitals on 3rd April, both being away games for KKR. Remaining fixtures will be announced soon as the build-up begins to the most anticipated and lucrative T20 tournament in the world.
KKR went on a buying spree in the auction ahead of IPL 2024, picking up as many as 10 players and amongst those was the most expensive buy of the auction history – Mitchell Starc as the Knights acquired the Aussie quick for an eye-popping 24.75 crores.
