Australia were able to take wickets at fairly regular intervals in their second One Day International against India on Friday, but the visitors were still able to hit the highest total since the start of the home side’s winning streak in ODIs. Their 274/7 comfortably surpassed the 252/9 made by New Zealand in Brisbane last summer, and was achieved largely thanks to an excellent 86 off 94 balls from Smriti Mandhana and a promising 44 off 50 deliveries from 17-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh.
