On this day, Anil Kumble spins a web around Pakistan to claim all ten

Indian great Anil Kumble spun a web around Pakistan on February 7, 1999, in the Delhi Test to become only the second bowler in history to claim a perfect 10 in a Test inning. Kumbled followed in the footsteps of English offspinner Jim Laker, who registered incredible figures of 10 for 53 against Australia at Old Trafford in Manchester in 1956.

Kumble registered figures of 10/74 in 26.3 overs to help India defeat their neighbours by 212 runs at the Ferozeshah Kotla. He was unplayable during the spell, which called for an amendment in the record books.
