Beau Webster takes an absolute screamer in the slip cordon

Jackson Bird’s second four-fer of the game put Tasmania in the driving seat during the Sheffield Shield encounter against Victoria, who finished the second day at 162/7 with a lead of only 63. Though the credit for one of his wickets must go to Beau Webster who took a brilliant diving catch in the cordon.

Bird returned stellar figures of 16-9-19-4 as he dovetailed once again with Peter Siddle (2-33) to rip apart the Victoria line-up, never allowing any substantial partnerships to blossom. Amidst the regular strikes, Will Sutherland held one end, making 44 as Victoria endeavoured to erase the 99-run first innings deficit.
