Josh Inglis was the architect of Western Australia’s victory at the WACA on Wednesday as he scored a 70-ball 85 which included nine fours and a six. Chasing 267 for victory, Western Australia got off to a promising start thanks to decent contributions from Josh Philippe, D’Arcy Short and Cameron Bancroft. Inglis then took the lead in the second half of the innings but a wobble saw Western Australia crash to 238/6 and later 254/8. Joel Paris and Andrew Tye, however, made sure that South Australia’s hopes of a come-from-behind win were quashed.
“The first couple of weeks were rough, obviously missing out and having to come home and doing rehab and stuff with my hand.”
