Shaheen Afridi advised two-week rehab after aggravating knee injury

Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has been advised to spend two weeks rehabilitating after he landed awkwardly while taking Harry Brook’s catch in the T20 World Cup final against England in Melbourne on Sunday, November 13. The scan conducted on Monday morning prior to the team’s departure back home, has confirmed there were no signs of an injury and the knee discomfort was likely due to a forced knee flexion while landing. Shaheen will undergo rehabilitation and conditioning programme after his return to Pakistan.
