Babar Azam looked in fine fettle during his 79 not out as he ushered Pakistan to consecutive wins in the T20 tri-series, beating New Zealand by an emphatic six-wicket margin. The hosts opted to bat first on a fairly decent strip but could only manage an underwhelming 147/8. With the ball too, they hardly looked on the top of their game as Babar stroked 79* off 53 to take his side past the target with 1.4 overs to spare. New Zealand were also taken aback by the promotion of Shadab Khan, who hit 34 off 22 and made a facile run-chase further easier.
