In what is a three-day Test after the opening day was washed out and the second day suspended after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, England gained the upper hand thanks to Ollie Robinson who dominated the wicket-packed first session on Saturday, September 10, at The Oval. Robinson took four wickets while James Anderson and Stuart Broad took one apiece to leave South Africa in tatters at 69 for 6 at Lunch on Day 3. The seventh wicket pair did the repair job by putting on an unbroken 33-run stand, but South Africa have a lot of hard yards to do.
