Australia allrounder Glenn Maxwell has tested positive for Covid-19, the Melbourne Stars confirmed. The Stars' skipper underwent a rapid antigen test after his team's loss to Melbourne Renegades on Monday night and returned a positive result. He is now in isolation, awaiting the result of an additional PCR test. Maxwell is the latest to have contracted with the virus in the Stars dugout where as many as 12 other players and 8 staff members have been infected.
