Languishing at the bottom, Ajinkya Rahane and his men finished with 180, thanks to Cameron Green finally hitting his straps and doing some justice to his price tag, but that proved insufficient as Gujarat Titans chased it down in the final over. As a result, Kolkata Knight Riders remain winless after six outings, having lost three home games in a row too.
It is important to note that Green didn’t bowl today. Rahane said, “Green was struggling with his cramps; that’s the reason he was on and off the field today, and that’s the reason he didn’t bowl.”
