Bangladesh have included uncapped Munim Shahriar and Yasir Ali in their 14-member squad for the upcoming two-match T20I series against Afghanistan. The series also marks the return of Shakib al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim along with Liton Kumar Das to the shortest format. Shakib did not play in the last T20I series against Pakistan at home due to injury. Nazmul Hossain, Nurul Hasan, Aminul Islam, Saif Hasan, and Akbar Ali failed to make a cut in the squad for the two-match series scheduled to be played at Dhaka respectively on March 3 and 5.
