(Video) Pressure may fall on Jermaine Blackwood’s shoulders ahead of fascinating final day

Jermaine Blackwood is a palpably talented cricketer, and has shown us many a glimpse into the depth of his ability. He did so again in the West Indies first innings against Pakistan, where he played some effortless shots in his innings of 33. The ease he often shows at the crease suggests, though, that he should be making runs slightly more consistently, and as a tantalising day five of this second Test approaches, the 29-year-old Jamaican will no doubt have to shoulder some considerable responsibility. Having closed day four on 49-1, the Windies have started in steady fashion in their chase of a daunting 329, and one would expect runs to be required throughout the order. Blackwood, somewhat unpredictable at times, may need to rein in his instinct to aggress on occasion.
