(Video) Bizarre mix-up sees Hasan Ali stranded in No-man’s-land

Hasan Ali is one of the world’s most watchable cricketers, a box-office bowler with the trademark celebration that gets under batters’ skin and riles up onlooking fans. Perhaps the most entertaining aspect of his game, though, is his batting, where he rarely fails to commit to baseball-like swings of the bat and wild flashes of the blade, occasionally sending the ball far over the rope for six.

Against the West Indies on day three of their second Test, though, Hasan was involved in a rather less welcome moment of entertainment, finding himself half way down the wicket after some dodgy running in tandem with Fawad Alam and looking back in resigned anguish at Windies ‘keeper Joshua Da Silva, who proceeded to whip the bails off and leave the visitors eight down.
