The Southern Brave continued their superb form to move inexorably into the men's Hundred final at Lord's on Saturday, where they will play the Birmingham Phoenix. The Brave dominated the Trent Rockets on Friday night, restricting them to just 96 all out off 91 deliveries, not allowing any batter to post a truly significant contribution. They chased down the total in just 68 balls after an electric start from Paul Stirling, who hit 31 off 19 deliveries. They were ultimately taken home by their classy skipper James Vince, who stroked a typically watchable 45 not out off 27 balls. With both the men's and women's teams into their respective finals, the Brave have an opportunity to build the Hundred's first dynasty.
