Durham stumbled early in the pursuit of 297 in the final of the Royal London One-Day Cup against Glamorgan. Andrew Salter was the wrecker-in-chief, sending both openers back in the hut, the latter flummoxed by a peach of an off-spinner. Later, he also accounted for David Bedingham, who recently blasted 56 off 35 balls as Durham went about chasing Surrey’s 280. Halfway through the innings, Durham are woefully behind the asking rate, scoring at a sluggish four runs per over.
