(Video) Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah are India’s unlikely saviours

Mohammad Shami, ably assisted by the often uncertain batsman Jasprit Bumrah, hit fifty – yes, fifty – to completely shift the tide of India’s second Test against England at Lord’s. The tourists looked to be staring at defeat when Rishabh Pant was dismissed early on by Ollie Robinson, but a combination of brilliant lower-order batting and some erratic cricket from England – both in their verbals and their tactics – saw them extend their lead well beyond 250 and miraculously put the game a fair way beyond the home team. This extraordinary Test match continues to throw up surprises.
