Trent Rockets’ Katherine Brunt was cleaned up round her stumps by left-arm spinner Kirstie Gordon in The Hundred’s tussle against Birmingham Phoenix. The batter shuffled a tad across to the off-side to nudge it fine but ended up missing it altogether as the leg-stump took a beating. It was imperative that Phoenix come up trumps in this match to keep their qualification hopes alive, and Gordon returned a three-wicket haul to do her bit rather splendidly.
