(Video) Fortune favours the brave as Ishant prolongs England's misery

Ishant holds fort.

Ravindra Jadeja has found an able ally in Ishant Sharma as he shepherds the tail yet again after India lost wickets in a cluster in the opening session on day two. Fortune is favouring the tall tail-ender, though, as Jos Buttler's goalkeeper dive couldn't account for a strangle down the leg while Haseeb Hameed missed the bull's eye as Ishant went meandering in search of a non-existent single. Ishant finally ran out of luck when James Anderson rapped him on the knee roll, but he did play an exemplary second fiddle to Jadeja in his 29-ball stay.
