KL Rahul has put his fledgling Test career right back on track with a hundred at Lord’s, taking his run tally in Tests in England past 700 in 10 matches. Extremely cautious to begin with, Rahul got into the groove with a bevy of square drives and authoritative punches through the cover region. Though Rohit Sharma fell 17 short of a mention in the Lord’s honours board, Rahul became the 10th Indian player and only the third Indian opener to score a century in Tests at the mecca of cricket.
