England players polished their skills in practice ahead of the second Test against India at Lord’s, the mecca of cricket. The hosts will be rueing the services of injured Stuart Broad, while the availability of James Anderson is also in jeopardy.
All-rounder Moeen Ali and Saqib Mahmood have been included in the squad for the second Test as England deal with injury scares to their illustrious pacemen. Also making a case for selection is Haseeb Hameed, who received the backing of head coach Chris Silverwood in the build-up to the Lord’s Test.
