(Video) Chris Jordan goes big to seal two wins in a day for the Southern Brave

Chris Jordan won the Southern Brave men’s Hundred match against the Northern Superchargers on Saturday night with a six to cement his reputation as one of the tournament’s “finishers”. He had previously starred with ball in hand, taking 1-19.

The Northern Superchargers batted first, putting on 128 off the 100 deliveries, which the Brave chased down with five balls and as many wickets remaining thanks to the brilliant Quinton de Kock, who smashed 72 from 45.

The win completed a clean sweep for the Brave after the women’s team won a rain-affected encounter earlier in the day, chasing down a revised 89 off 75 balls with 13 deliveries to spare. The wins leave the women’s team at the top of the table, and the men lie in second, behind the Trent Rockets.
