Nat Sciver made a strong case for the best catch of the inaugural edition of The Hundred Women’s league, zipping in from long-on and diving full-length to cling on to a ball that seemed destined to drop short.
Sophie Luff couldn’t generate enough power in her swipe across the line and had her fate sealed by an acrobatic Sciver, who also delivered the goods with the bat to usher Trent Rockets to their third win on the trot.
