On this day back in 2015, Stuart Broad tormented Australia with a spell for the ages, dwarfing the visitors to 60 all out on the first morning of the fourth Ashes Test at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. The veteran seamer hit the ground running with two wickets in the first over of the match. It included his 300th Test wicket – Chris Rodgers, on nought, edging to Alistair Cook at first slip.

Then, within a jiffy, Australia collapsed like nine pins as Broad scripted his 14th five-wicket haul with Australia gasping for breath at 29/6. England's catching in the slip cordon was top-notch as well, with Ben Stokes even clinging on to a one-handed specky to remove Adam Voges.

Australia's misery came to a close in 100 minutes. Only two batsmen got to double digits, with extras contributing a useful 14. Broad's artistic hostility saw England paste a mauling to regain the Ashes urn.
