Experienced campaigner Jasprit Bumrah wasn’t among the wickets in the World Test Championship final versus New Zealand and would be raring to make amends. He will have a sounding board in Ishant Sharma, the seaming workhorse who is on his fourth trip to England. Also hogging the limelight would be Mohammed Shami, the man who bowled with vim and vigour in the WTC summit clash.
Ravi Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja will constitute India’s spin department along with Axar Patel, the rookie who took the mickey out of England when the teams last met earlier this year.
