Welsh Fire’s Bryony Smith jetted off for a sneaky single after tapping the ball to cover, but Amanda-Jade Wellington had other ideas. A single-handed pick-up and throw in one exquisite motion left Smith yards short of her crease.
Undone by the sublime piece of fielding from the Southern Brave livewire, the batswoman was nowhere in the frame, and didn’t even bother putting in a dive or sliding her bat in the vague hope of making her ground.
The speed. The accuracy.
Outstanding work from Southern Brave’s Amanda-Jade Wellington 👏👏👏#TheHundred pic.twitter.com/njqhYzDLK4
