Steve Smith isn’t renowned for his T20 skillsets but the veteran Australian batter has put up a show in the Big Bash League. Having scored two centuries on the trot, Smith missed out on a hundred at the Blundstone Arena as a full toss claimed his wicket for a quickfire 66.
Sydney Sixers made 180/7 in 20 overs after being sent in by Hobart Hurricanes, with Steve Smith and Ben Dwarshuis playing key roles. The Sixers lost 5 wickets for 34 runs after Smith got out, but an improbable 30 from 14 balls from Dwarshuis saw them post a strong total on the board.
