David Moody taken out of attack for bowling two deliveries over waistline

Melbourne Renegades pacer David Moody was taken out of the attack by the umpires for bowling two balls above waist height in just the second over of the match against Perth Scorchers. Opener Cameron Bancroft crouched down after taking a nasty blow to his hand and ribs from Moody’s first full toss.

As per cricket laws, a bowler can be sent out of the attack if they deliver two balls above waist-height — which an umpire believes is threatening for the batter — during their spell.
