Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill added 72 for the opening wicket as India pocketed an eight-wicket win in the second ODI against New Zealand in Raipur to clinch the three-match ODI series 2-0. The hosts chased down the tiny target of 109 in just the 21st over. Rohit seemed to be in a mood to experiment as he played a cheeky reverse sweep off Mitchell Santner. Eventually, in the 15th over, the visitors drew first blood when Rohit went across the line off Henry Shipley but was trapped in front.
Captain @ImRo45 provided the perfect start to the chase with a fifty and was #TeamIndia‘s 🔝 performer from the second innings 👌👌
