However, the southpaw who nearly pulled off a heist in Hyderabad couldn’t repeat his heroics as he top-edged a pull to the wicket-keeper, with Shami picking up his third scalp. Phillips then joined forces with Mitchell Santner to share another valuable stand of 47, but New Zealand could only muster an underwhelming 108 in 34.3 overs in the end.
