An unexpected onslaught from Marco Jansen led the Sunrisers Eastern Cape to a come-from-behind victory by two wickets with three balls to spare in their SA20 League match against the Mumbai Indians Cape Town at Newlands on Wednesday.
The run-chase did not begin on a promising note for Sunrisers Eastern Cape as opener Jon-Jon Smuts (4) was athletically run out by Jofra Archer off his own bowling. On a comeback trail, the express quick went on to register figures of 4-0-18-1.
