Shades of MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot in Kohli’s lusty blow off Karunaratne

Virat Kohli curated his 46th ODI century, against Sri Lanka, in Greenfield International Stadium on Sunday. The champion batter is now just four ODI tons away from breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most hundreds in the format. Kohli has 46 ODI centuries under his belt, whereas Tendulkar has 49.

This was also Kohli’s 74th hundred in international cricket. He took 10 fours and 1 six to reach the milestone, going past Tendulkar’s record for most centuries at home with 21 hundreds to his credit in India now.
