India were struggling at 65/5 chasing 207 against Sri Lanka in the second T20I at Pune. But Axar Patel counter-attacked, scoring the bulk of the runs in a half-century stand that came off 25 deliveries, with a hat-trick off sixes off Wanindu Hasaranga in the 14th over being the crown jewels. Suryakumar also fetched a six in the same over which yielded 26 runs. Suryakumar struck a six off Chamika Karunaratne in the 15th over, as did Axar who brought up a rollicking 20-ball fifty to slim the equation to 68 off the last five overs.
