Alex Ross hits Jhye Richardson cleanly over long-off

Oliver Davies (58 off 47) and Alex Ross (41* off 18) enabled Sydney Thunder to a six-wicket win in Perth. It was their fourth victory on the bounce, which makes them joint table-toppers with Perth Scorchers.

Thunder were in a spot of bother at 10/2 chasing 143, having lost Alex Hales and Rilee Rossouw for ducks. But opener Matthew Gilkes (32) and Davies added 67 runs for the third wicket and helped weather the storm before Ross’s unbeaten cameo took the side home with as many as three overs to spare.
