Northern Superchargers Women were fumbling at 19/4 in the quest of 131 against Welsh Fire in The Hundred when 20-year-old Jemimah Rodrigues arrived at their rescue, thwacking an explosive 92* from 43 balls to single-handedly lift her side to what seemed like an improbable victory at one stage.

Her rambunctious knock was studded with 17 boundaries and a six to boot, boasting of a whirlwind strike rate of 213.95. The 20-year-old has been grappling for rhythm in recent times at the international level and this performance would for sure serve as a terrific morale-booster.
