Leg spinner Ish Sodhi returns to New Zealand’s Test squad for the upcoming tour of Pakistan, where they will contest in two Tests and three ODIs. Sodhi last featured in the longest format in November 2018.
Despite an impressive first-class record – 279 scalps in 88 games – Sodhi has been more of a T20 stalwart for New Zealand, recently joining the 100-wickets club in the format. He comes back with a chance to reignite his Test career in a series that will see Tim Southee take over the reins from Kane Williamson.
