English lynchpin Joe Root has completed a half-century of wickets in Test cricket by dismissing Faheem Ashraf in the ongoing match against Pakistan. Root became the third cricketer to score 10,000 runs and take 50 wickets in Test cricket after Jacques Kallis and Steve Waugh.
The second Test, in Multan, is nearing its conclusion and itβs an even contest at the moment. England set a 355-run target to the hosts. Pakistan has handled the chase adroitly and they now require under 100 runs to win with 5 wickets in their hand.
