Brendon McCullum had promised that England will try their best to avoid dull draws in the lead-up to the Rawalpindi Test and Ben Stokes and his men walked the talk, attacking with the bat, experimenting with the ball, declaring sportingly and setting imaginative fields to bring alive what promised to be a damp squib on a lifeless pitch. The visitors clinched the first Test in the final session of Day 5, by 74 runs. With some reverse swing at their disposal, Ollie Robinson and James Anderson arrested four wickets apiece to bundle out Pakistan for 268 runs in the second innings.
The final wicket to fall.
