Naseem Shah changes up the pace to castle Ben Stokes

England skipper Ben Stokes perished early on the second day of the Rawalpindi Test, castled by a well-disguised slower ball from Naseem Shah.

Four of England’s top-five batters scored centuries as the tourists made an enormous 506/4 on the opening day in just 75 overs. Openers Zak Crawley (122) and Ben Duckett (107) laid the ground with their 233-run stand while Ollie Pope (108) and Harry Brook (101*) consolidated with their alliance worth 176, to hammer home England’s advantage.
