England win the toss and decide to bat in Rawalpindi Test

After an eventful day where both PCB and ECB had to monitor an illness rocking the England camp and discuss about delaying the series opener, the confirmation finally came through this morning that the Test will go ahead as planned. It's England's first match on Pakistan soil in as long as 17 years, and the way things unravelled yesterday, it seemed like a nigh-impossible task for the visitors to even field an XI. But a lot of the players have recovered thankfully.

England have won the toss and opted to bat.
