PCB and ECB unanimously agreed that the call whether to delay the first Test between Pakistan and England for a day will be taken tomorrow morning after the visitors were exposed to a virus that infected as many as 14 members of the squad. Joe Root, among those affected, managed to stage a swift recovery which offers hope that the other afflicted members of the touring party would also be able to recover in the nick of time.
England had already announced their playing eleven with all-rounder Liam Livingstone set to make his debut.
