Watch Marnus Labuschagne’s confident strokes en route 154*

Marnus Labushchagne finished unbeaten on 154* on Day 1 of the first Test between Australia and West Indies, his eighth Test century ushering the hosts to a dominant 293/2 in Perth. Ninety runs were serenely scored between Lunch and Tea after 72 had come in the first session, a clear indication of how scoring was getting progressively easier. The most damage was done in the final session, however, as Australia pulled well clear of the Windies by adding 131 runs without losing a wicket.
