Ben Foakes showed why he’s counted among the best in the business with a piece of exceptional in the warm-up fixture between England Lions and the senior team in Abu Dhabi.
Foakes was quick to respond to a wayward Will Jacks delivery ball, collecting it with a dive down the leg side. The batter, who’d advanced down the track, tried regaining his ground as Foakes fell to his knees while completed the difficult take. However, he managed to inflict a sensational stumping with an off-balanced backhanded flick at the stumps.
