Jagadeesan smashed 25 fours and 15 sixes enroute his record-shattering innings of 277, the highest individual score in all List A cricket. This was Jagadeesan’s fifth consecutive century in List A cricket making him the first player to do so. He went past the record of four hundreds in successive innings by Kumar Sangakkara, Alviro Petersen and Devdutt Padikkal. He came into this innings with scores of 114* vs Andhra, 107 vs Chhattisgarh, 168 vs Goa and 128 vs Haryana. Jagadeesan took just 114 balls to get to his double hundred making it the joint fastest in all List A cricket.
