Hazlewood traps Vince plumb on 60

Steve Smith led Australia’s batting for a second game in a row, agonizingly missing out on a century but putting in two vital stands to help the hosts to a competitive 280/8 against England on a slow Sydney wicket in the second ODI. England suffered a top-order wobble in response but James Vince and Sam Billings ensured the teams’s problems didn’t aggravate as they built a 122-run partnership. While Josh Hazlewood trapped Vince plumb for 60, Billings fell prey to Adam Zampa’s leg-spin for 71. The wickets of the well-set batters have reinforced Australia’s grip over the contest.
