Marnus Labuschagne brings up fifty as Australia rebuild

Marnus Labuschagne brought up his fifty in the 25th over of the innings after Australia lost the wickets of openers David Warner and Travis Head inside the first ten overs of the innings. Steve Smith, fresh off a confidence-boosting knock in the series opener, is approaching half-century as well as Australia rebuild steadily.

The hosts are being led by stand-in captain Josh Hazlewood who won the toss and opted to bat first against England in the 2nd ODI of the three-match series at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday. Australia aim to clinch the series after trouncing England by 6 wickets in Adelaide.
