Ben Stokes has made quite a nervy start to the contest by slipping in a no-ball and a wide. Although Mohammad Rizwan couldn’t take advantage of the free hit as Stokes banged it into his body. The opener has a tendency to look fidgety early on, and the iffiness showed in the way he committed to a non-existent single. Chris Jordan, one of England’s best fielders, picked the ball cleanly at mid-off but missed the target. Rizwan didn’t have a chance to make his ground despite the despairing dive.
