Chris Woakes has pegged India back early in the T20 World Cup 2022 semi-final against India as KL Rahul nicked an away-decking lifter behind. The opener had come into the crunch game on the back of consecutive half-centuries, but he’s failed to make an impact in the knockout, even though an unrestrained square cut off the first ball of the innings suggested he’s looking to express himself in the middle. The onus is now on experienced campaigners Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to take India’s innings forward.
