Ryan ten Doeschate, the former Netherlands international who hails from South Africa, is set to join the support staff of the Kolkata Knight Riders side in the Indian Premier League. He has been appointed as the teamโs new fielding coach and will replace James Foster, who has been promoted as an assistant coach. Both will be reporting to head coach Chandrakant Pandit, under whom Madhya Pradesh won the Ranji Trophy this year.
Ten Doeschate (42), a former KKR player who lifted the IPL trophy in 2012 and 2014, could also be involved in a role in the franchiseโs subsidiary in the UAE League. He could serve as an assistant coach for the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders side.
