Riding on quickfire half-centuries from Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed, and backed up by a fine bowling performance, Pakistan secured a comfortable 33-run win (DLS Method) over South Africa to keep their T20 World Cup campaign afloat. Barring temba Bavuma’s return to form, there wasn’t much that went South Africa’s way in the run chase after Pakistan had scored 185 for 9 despite being reduced to an alarming 43 for 4 early in their innings.
