Barry McCarthy produced an unbelievable effort at long-on in the World Cup clash against Australia as he leapt and saved what looked like a certain six. Even Matthew Wade couldn’t help but applaud that effort. It was a slower delivery outside off, and Marcus Stoinis lofted it high and handsome. McCarthy timed his jump to perfection after running to his left and went with two hands initially, stretching backwards. He was airborne and caught it in his left hand, but since he knew the momentum is going to take him over the cushions he threw the ball mid-air back into play.
